What are you doing today to improve your Google Page Ranking? Change your Web Site Copy, (you can and SHOULD change your copy regularly, we change our web copy daily, it isn’t that hard and DOES NOT require IT brains) Start a Blog, begin to understand Google analytics or any of the other great services out there, but start today. Think you are too busy, you may be, but carve out some time anyway to start understanding where you land on a Google Search. If you aren’t on page one, No One Knows You are There. It’s the Silent Killer, if your phone didn’t ring, wouldn’t you wonder why, and perhaps invest the time to figure out why? A Google Page Ranking is no different, it is just silent and makes no audible noise. But be sure it is there, and 70 plus percent of folks start their on line search with Google. Don't you want to be visible and have folks find you, better figure out how to get to page one, and high up on page one Google Ranking. FYI, Turning your marketing fate over to the ILS Services WILL NOT get you a page ranking on Google, while helpful, they are also helping the guy across the street, no one gets a preference, including you.
Asleep at the Wheel
Property Management Companies, Wake Up! Do you have any idea how long it will take you to build a Long Tail? Do you care? Do you even know what a Long Tail is? As the Yellow Pages and Phone Books continue to evaporate, (not fast enough though) you eventually will. Being in Detroit, and watching the decline of the Big Three and the recent demise of General Motors, at least as we once knew will never be the same. I am not suggesting that property management companies have the same issues as the Big Three, but,……………., there are some similarities, such as acting like dinosaurs.
Building a long tail isn’t all that hard, but it does take time, and get this marketing types of all sorts, you can’t buy a Block of Long Tail once you figure out you are months and or years behind the pack, and your old tried and true tricks are no longer working. I suspect your current tricks aren’t working so well now, but you are too darned scared to try anything new for fear of failure. Forget that, Fail Faster if you expect to find the treasure.

And here’s the deal, don’t believe me, just Google Urbane Apartments, we dominate the first six or eight pages, I can’t make that up, its called a result. Google Apartments Royal Oak, We come up page one, number one to three consistently. Heck, just Google “Apartments” we come up on page one, AHEAD of every other apartment firm out there. Doesn’t that mean something? Maybe we have an idea or two that would help propel your apartment marketing campaign. And here’s the deal, being a boot strapped start up, I would bank on the idea, we can get you where you need to be for a heck of a lot less too, with significantly enhanced results, assuming your form of measurement are results.
