Corporate apartments are usually furnished. Renters can come in and do their daily routine with less interruption. This is something that cannot done when living out of a suitcase in a hotel. A corporate apartment is more like a home away from home. You come in and be comfortable. And as you look around you see the same features you have in your own home, a kitchen, a dining and a receiving area. Unlike when you are living in a hotel room, all you see are the four walls. It is so impersonal.
A standard corporate apartment has an area of 50 square meters. Although it is only one big room that serves as a bedroom, with an additional room for a bathroom, there is space for a dining, receiving and a kitchen. The following are usually included:
- Full Kitchen – there is a refrigerator, oven, microwave, stove and many more
- Housewares – There are ready dishes, silverware, glasses and cooking ware
- Furniture – bed, sofas, tables, chairs and cabinets
- Linens – sheets, pillows, towels and comforters
- Utilities – Internet services, cable TVs, washer and dryer.
Some corporate apartments have two bedrooms and an area of receiving, dining and kitchen. They are, of course more costly than standard corporate apartments.
Some premiere corporate apartments have access to resident amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, a spa or a business center. These amenities provide more comfort to their guests and make their stay enjoyable.
So if you are still wondering if a corporate apartment is the right one for you and your business, try to consider an extended stay in a hotel. It will, of course be costly, and most hotels have low quality rooms and grounds. The maintenance and management of an extended stay hotel, most often do not come up to the standards of corporate travellers.
Another thing to consider is staying for a long period of time away from home which is often stressful. You long for the comfort of your home. That is the purpose of corporate apartments – to make you feel at home. That is why it has the same amenities as your home, such as a working kitchen, ceramic dishes and an in-unit laundry. You can also make it more like your home if you bring some personal items from home such as pictures of your family, a house plant or your favorite pillow.
